Moving forward in the right direction often requires an organisation to take stock and assess its current position, both in terms of its internal working practices and its external environment. As a first step in larger projects, or as a worthwhile exercise in its own right, public service bodies often ask OPM to help them establish, interrogate and develop the evidence base they need to move forward. Getting things right at this stage can save time, effort and money later on down the line.
