'I have worked in OPM’s events team since 2005 and it has been interesting to see the events industry develop over the years, particularly in light of advances in technology and communication. I have a particular interest in using innovative techniques or new technology in order to enhance interaction and learning at events. My background is in project support in the NHS, so I have a good understanding of what is needed to provide a seamless support service to complex teams and projects.
I like the challenge of bringing together different practical aspects of an event combined with the creativity of doing things differently, despite time or budget constraints. I find it satisfying to see public sector leaders bringing colleagues together to share understanding and to strive for improvement.
