'As a social policy graduate, learning how to understand, research and improve policy is at the core of what I do. My main motivation is to achieve fairness of access to all services for all people, ensuring that everyone has access to the information and opportunity to utilise services effectively.

I am a strong believer of evidence-based policy and practice. I use both quantitative and qualitative research methods to gather data that is rich and relevant, creating sound bodies of evidence. This way I am able to use my skills provide clients with evidence to inform changes in policy, contributing to producing positive social outcomes. It is a great feeling to know that the work you are doing is going to make a change for the better.

I joined OPM in 2009 because of the fast pace and flexible environment I can work in. I never feel limited as to what I can explore and the innovative methods I can employ to produce the best outputs. Since joining I have worked in a range of fields including mental health, education, social care and exploring youth led research.'
