Kate is an organisational change expert with a proven record of delivering large scale change projects with an emphasis on quality improvement and service re-design with the NHS, local government and the third sector.
Kate has considerable senior level experience of policy development, implementation and evaluation, particularly in clinical commissioning and health and wellbeing strategies. She is a very experienced senior manager and leader in the health sector, with a clinical background and a deep understanding and experience of working with Local Authorities and the Third Sector. She has significant Board level experience as a Trustee of three charities.
As the Head of two Department of Health National Support Teams, Kate established and led two highly credible, respected national teams, and two virtual teams of over 70 experts. She delivered programmes of strategic change management and cultural change with local organisations and partnerships across England, working with and across whole systems of health, social care and education. Key stakeholders included Council and Health Chief Executives, Directors and Local Elected Members. Independent evaluation demonstrated delivery of organisational change and dramatic improvements in local performance.
She is currently working with Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), GPs and the VCF sector, including delivering research and a discussion document to inform CCG – wide policy on Managing Conflicts of Interest; and working to develop strong partnerships between the local VCF sector and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs).
