Jon is an accomplished change leader and organisational development practitioner.
Jon established his own consultancy company in August 2008 where he is building on his 20 years consulting experience across the public services and commercial world. He has particular strengths in facilitating the conversations, tools, structures and actions required to generate robust outcomes & results. He has developed significant expertise in developing cultures of continuous improvement, resolving conflict and organising the productive engagement with customers/clients/citizens.
Most recently, Jon worked as the Regional Director of Organisational Development for the police service in Eastern England. Prior to this he worked for OPM for 12 years. His career started in local government and the NHS. Jon is skilled in helping individuals, organisations and collaborative partnerships to shape their futures and create strategies that really happen (rather than exist only on the glossy page).
Jon has worked with the Home Office, the Office for Health Gain, Esso, the Bank of England, Solaglas, the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions, Youth Justice Board, Islington Council, Metropolitan Police, Thorn Lighting, HM Prison Service, Great Ormond Street Hospital, the National Policing Improvement Agency and many other organisations (83 at the last count).
