Helen is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist who joined OPM from a business psychology firm. She is now an associate for OPM, as she is completing her Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at City University. Helen is an accredited coach and has experience of using a range of psychometric tools, reports and evaluations in developing senior executives. She specialises in the application of psychological theory to Leadership and Management Development.
My approach to coaching:
I am very focused on helping anyone I coach to achieve practical outcomes and goals. I would describe my style as solution focused, but I use many of the skills derived from cognitive behavioural therapy to achieve this. I’m also very keen to help clients become better leaders and managers by becoming acutely more self-aware, and draw on a number of more modern approaches such as mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy.
