'I lead OPM’s deliberative work and specialise in public and stakeholder engagement and evaluation, providing advice and support to organisations on engagement strategies and designing and running engagement projects.
I am interested in the conversations between those who develop, decide upon and implement policy and the people on whom those policies have an impact. Many of my projects address complex social and ethical issues – for example, those arising from developments in scientific research or from the need to balance competing interests or stretch already tight budgets.
My clients include local and central government. I work on qualitative research, deliberative engagement and dialogue projects and evaluations of public and stakeholder engagement. My fundamental commitment is to processes are fair, balanced, inclusive and transparent – as well as interesting and challenging for all those involved.'
