Our People

Claire Lazarus

Claire was a Senior Fellow at OPM until March 2012 and now works as an associate. Claire has wide ranging experience of working with local authorities, health, the voluntary and community sector as well as directly with families. She has a particular interest in children’s services, partnership and collaborative working. Claire has worked extensively at the regional level supporting sector-led work which has included helping people to develop personal and work action plans to improve the way in which they work and deliver services. She has also worked in and with Central Government.

Claire is confident and familiar with working with colleagues from front line staff through to senior officers and members. She particularly enjoys the stimulation, vitality and benefits of working with people from different ethnic and religious backgrounds but also has extensive experience of working in areas that are less diverse.

My approach draws upon:

  • Experience of coaching people working at very different levels in organisations as well as the challenge of thinking about leadership in this context
  • Established models and strategies to inform personal and organisational development
  • Commitment to support colleagues in the public and voluntary sector survive and continue to grow in the current political and economic context
