Carol is a highly qualified Organisational Development Consultant and Healthcare Professional (former Nursing Director and Acute Trust Quality Lead).
My professional background is in health and I am passionate about improving the efficiency and effectiveness of services, whilst ensuring that throughout the process the focus on achieving best experiences and outcomes for service users is not lost.
Before becoming an associate, I spent six years at OPM as a senior fellow, during which time I utilised transferable experience and skills leading major organisational change and development programmes on behalf of Local Authorities, PCT’s, NHS Trusts and the Community and Voluntary Sectors.
I particularly enjoy engaging groups and individuals, often in challenging contexts, and facilitating situations to enable people to participate in major change. I am an experienced, qualified coach and facilitator, utilising various approaches including open space and world café facilitation.
Last year I embarked on a VSO appointment developing the national strategy and infrastructure for the voluntary and community sector in Guyana, and I also currently work as a board member and volunteer for a medium sized voluntary organisation in the Midlands.
