Caitilin McMillan is a Project Manager at Dialogue by Design combining an exciting background in research, facilitation and community development. She is skilled at engaging with a range of stakeholders from the local to international level with a particular interest in including ‘hard to reach’ groups in the consultation process.
Her role involves managing a range of projects, including online public consultation, face-to-face stakeholder and public engagement as well as mixed methods engagement. As a Project Manager, Caitilin leads on project design, implementation, analysis and reporting on various issues. She is also responsible for contributing to proposal writing and researching new sectors.
Before joining the team, Caitilin worked for several years in international development on challenging and rewarding projects around the world. She has been the key person leading policy initiatives and community development programmes in the UK, India, China, Cuba and Canada. Until recently, she spearheaded a Social Inclusion and Mentoring Project for newly-arrived migrant women living in Tower Hamlets, London funded by the EU. She was responsible for providing strategic vision for the project, balancing complex targets and ensuring the work achieved the best social outcomes towards empowering migrant women with the skills and confidence to fully participate in society.
In 2011, she completed her MSc in Migration Studies from the University of Oxford after receiving distinction in her undergraduate degree in Global Development Studies from Queen’s University in Canada.
