Anna is an experienced mixed methods research and evaluation practitioner with a particular interest in using these techniques to give people a voice in decisions that matter to them.
I enjoy working across a diverse range of sectors and have a strong track record building expertise in a subject from a standing start. This passion for building an in-depth knowledge of new policy areas and then communicating that knowledge effectively to the public and other stakeholders in research, or applying it in order to evaluate a programme means I’ve built up experience across many sectors. Key clients have included regulators, central government departments, non-departmental public bodies and agencies, European Agencies, and charities. I’ve also worked with private sector organisations interested in public service delivery.
Before joining OPM, I was a Strategy Lead at the Care Quality Commission – leading a team of Strategy Managers to inform CQC’s future direction. I found this experience invaluable in helping me to understand how research and evaluation can be shaped to effectively inform policy-making. I’ve now joined OPM to get closer to the people using and delivering services, so that I can play a part in giving people a voice in decisions that will impact on them.
