We know the importance of involving as many students as possible. Focus groups are a very effective way of inviting a group of people to share their thoughts, feelings, attitudes and ideas on a certain subject.
We are currently in the process of organising these focus groups. The dates and places where they will be held will be listed on this page once these have been finalised.
We are hoping to get a wide spread of people from different
- ages
- gender
- ethnicity
- degrees of religious observance
- courses and subject matter as well as part time and/or full-time students
We are also looking to attract:
- home and foreign students
- recent immigrants, asylum seekers and refugees (from Afghanistan, Kosovo, Bosnia and Somalia)
- institutions in further and higher education
- young people experiencing complex or multiple barriers e.g. unemployment and disability.
We will be scheduling the focus groups at times when students will not have to forego classes or work.
If you want to be involved in a group, click here to send us an email letting us know you are interested.
(Your email program should open with a message ready to send. We'll get back to you by email but please give us your phone number too in case we need it.)
