Literature review
The research team has conducted a comprehensive review of existing research, statistical data and information relevant to post-16 Muslim learners in London. We then looked at the following research questions:
- What does existing data, literature and information show?
- What are the issues affecting the Muslim community and learning at large?
- Is there any data on entry, update and progression of Muslims in the post-16 learning sector in London?
- What is the range and quality of existing provision to this community?
- Can we find any examples of good practice in strategy, targeting, curriculum, wider engagement and related work?
